Singing in the Rain

It is raining (hard) in Sydney today.   I love the rain - but preferably when I am still curled up in my bed and I can hear it crashing outside.   It was not much fun this morning driving to work - though I love this pic I took through my windscreen (just before 7am). 



All this rain has got me thinking about buying a raincoat (I toyed with the idea a couple of years ago) and a friend suggested it to me this morning (in response to my whinging about needing a hair dryer at work).  Is it acceptable for someone over the age of 10 to wear a raincoat?  Can a woman in her 30s get away with one?  Do you have one?  I have been flirting with these raincoats this morning... should I throw one in my online bag? If this rain keeps up, I may have no choice.
