OMG...Hello
I am bag obsessed (close second to my shoe obsession). I love this clip bag (by the brilliant Peter Bristol) made of wool felt and aluminium. The perfect accessory for the office!

OMG...Hello
Is it a suitcase? A handbag? No, it's a mobile cupboard...no wait, it's a handbag. You decide. Williams Handmade are gorgeous. I love their structure and craftsmanship. Why does something so perfect need to be defined.

Interior Design
Harriet Anstruther is a British interior designer. I love her work and I absolutely love the way she has decked out her C19th London town house. The outcome is an eclectic, minimal, colourful, fun, traditional and simply gorgeous home. As The Boyfriend is a builder and will only buy a house that is in desparate need of restoration - I am constantly looking for renovation and interior design inspiration! I would let Harriet Anstruther run wild decorating my home - and that's saying a lot because I am a control freak! Check out some of the rooms in her London home.
I love the print and the candelabras on either side of the fireplace
Black and white stripes, chandelier and side tables - adore
Minimal, clean and love the communal table look
Love the light and the wall art
Check out the bust, treasure chest and that wallpaper (more chandelier action) - nice
Pink skylight in the master bathroom - sexy genius
What a powder room. How amazing is this basin and wallpaper!!!
I love everything! The white ottoman, the colour mix of the couches, the chandelier...bliss

Put It On Paper
These little numbers are made of paper. How beautiful are they?! They are part of a photo series by Iban Montero called Limited Paper. The designs are by Ane Lopez. They are super elegant. I love them. Initial thoughts included: what about the paper cuts, can you sit in these, so easy to rip off (sexy), what if you get caught in the rain and "do you have a pen"?

Ring of Secrets
Is there anything sweeter than receiving written words of love from your beau? Nowadays they predominantly short and sweet and arrive in electronic form via text message with numerous acronyms. In the 1800s you may have been given a ring with hidden love messages in it. With inscrptions including "I love you a little, a lot, passionately and not at all". Check it out.
I love secrets. Secret compartment ring by Antonio Bernardo -(Rio) love! Makes me think of hidden poison!

Top of Mind
I've got serious Sunday night blues tonight. Here are 5 things that went some way to brightening my mood.

1. I love this story. Balls & Tuxedos or Sexy Vixens & LBDs?
2. This is a super cool ring.
3. This explains everything. I'm always feeling exhausted.
4. I always keep a travel journal when I head off on holidays. Love this one.
5. Christian Louboutin's home in Paris. Can this man be any cooler?

Re-Structuring
I'm a structure person. You either are or you aren't. Perhaps it's a personality thing, a control thing. I like the certainty and stability that structure provides. This reigns true in many aspects of my life, including fashion. Whilst I enjoy the laissez-faire feelings that come with wearing a free flowing skirt or top and the thrill of wearing a fashion piece in support of the latest fashion fad (usually out of fashion 5 minutes into wearing it) I always go back to the classic, clean, minimal and structured look.
New York fashion house Chromat designs pieces after my own (little black) fashion heart - they are ALL about the structure. Building scaffolding is one of the sources of inspiration for Chromat pieces (now that is structural support)! Check out the Chromat blog - get a bit of structure in your life.

Bird Brain
Think bird skull.
Now think shoe.
What comes to mind?
Exactly, nothing.
Well, in future these little numbers will - the Bird Skull Shoe aka the Biomimicry Shoe by Dutch fashion designer Marieka Ratsma and US architect Kostika Spaho.
These shoes are inspired by a bird skull.

And if you're still not convinced, then take a look at this:
Oh, and WTF is Biomimicry you ask? As did I. Yes, it is a real word. In simple terms - it is the examination of nature, its models, systems, processes and elements to emulate or take inspiration from in order to solve human problems. Yes, these little babies would solve my problems!
These are pretty creative shoes. I would run around town in these little numbers (though they look so delicate). Good news - they are custom made to order and on sale as of Jan 2013! Get into it and while you're at it, check out Marieka's blog!

The Fifth Wall
I've heard of and seen many a painted "feature" wall. I must say, I once loved them and now, well, not so much. They're done! How about this, though - painted ceilings (i.e. dressing the fifth wall with something other than white paint). You could wallpaper the ceiling, stencil it, throw fabric on it - sky's the limit (so to speak). Do you have a feature (fifth) wall? Would you do it? I'm undecided (and think it depends on the space) but here are some of my favourites.
Love the stripes
Too distracted by everything in this room and the view to worry about the ceiling

Stripes - fun
