Over the weekend I came across Parisian Artist-Designer Herve van der Straeton. He was once a jewellery designer for Yves Saint Laurent and Lacroix. Now he has his own line of jewellery, furniture, mirrors, lighting - they are all gorgeous. I love his pieces - functional art! Is there anything this French man can't do brilliantly? Next trip to Paris will definitely include a trip to his gallery in the Marais district.
