House Hunting

In case you missed it, the "house" is the narrow structure between the two buildings

122cm Wide at its widest - but clearly practical enough to fit a beanbag

House hunting every weekend can be a drag, exchanging terse words, theatrics (think statements at the top of your voice along the lines of: "oh, I think the walls are asbestos"; "lots of termite damage here") weekends that fly by, repeating the mantra "violence is never the answer" and some tears!  It's exhausting!  The Keret House in Warsaw (thinnest house in the world) actually made me laugh because during previous intensive house hunting periods with the Boyfriend, I'm sure we viewed properties not much bigger than Keret House (and for ridiculous sums of money I might add - it's all about the location apparently, who cares if you have to walk through the house sideways and you can't fit your couch in the 3.5 metre long living room?)   The boyfriend and I decided to put the house hunting on hold about 12 months ago and to focus on travel instead -  a much more fun and soul fulfilling experience.  But, all good things come to an end and it's time to start searching for real estate and spending the weekends doing all of the fun things I mentioned earlier!

p.s. If Keret House isn't your thing - check this little number out (gives new meaning to "home is where the heart is" and to home security)!
